Hello, my name is ALI

I have been a Registered Nurse on a Step Down Cardiac Unit in MT for 15 years. Due to ¨Life¨ I have found nursing in the last few years has become really heavy for me and am setting it down for awhile. Still working there, but have cut hours way back after having two babies 16 months apart. They are now 19 months and 3 months. I also have an eleven year old daughter. Loving being home more and spending time with my kids!

I have always loved design and decorating! And I love shopping! :-) From a young age I was always finding new wallpapers or bedding and begging my Mom to let me redo my whole bedroom. She usually graciously let me. Once my older siblings all moved out (I am the baby of two brothers and two sisters) I had three bedrooms to move in/out of during high school and utilized them all. Looking back, I can´t believe she let me do it!

My Husband and I bought a house 3 years ago and have renovated much of it. I love all things DIY and have always been accused of doing things ¨extra” :-) I take that as a compliment! I´m the friend everyone comes to with design questions; where to hang things, furniture layouts, what paint to pick, etc. and I LOVE helping!

I love all projects, but there is something about a nursery, am I right?!? Thereś no anticipation as great as waiting on a babe. Who will they look like?, what will their personality be?, picking names, all of it!! I have had THE most fun designing all three of my kid´s nurseries and now big boy room and tween room! I am an absolute sucker for cute baby things; decor and clothes! Using this as a fun way to share my love of being a Mama and making cute spaces for tiny people with you all.
